Zhang Chan
Zhang Chan (born 7 November 1997) is a Chinese cricketer who plays for China women's national cricket team in domestic and international cricket in Women's Twenty20. She made her international cricket debut in 2018 when Chinese women's team toured South Korea. A right-handed batter with wicket-keeper role, she was also a part of China Women vs Kuwait Women in Women's Twenty20 International format held in 2019 at Yeonhui Cricket Ground. She played her last match on 22 September 2019 against HongKong in Incheon, South Korea. The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. Women's Twenty20 Cricket
Women's Twenty20 is the use of the Twenty20 match format in women's cricket. In a Twenty20 match, the two teams bat for a single innings each, of a maximum of 20 overs. The wider rules and playing conditions are usually the same for both the men's format and the women's format, with some small variations. China Women's National Cricket Team
The Chinese women's cricket team is the team that represents China in international women's cricket matches. The first time Chinese women cricketers making their international debut was in September 2006 in a Sixes game against Scotland in Shanghai, losing by 59 runs. However, the side was not recognised by the Chinese Cricket Association as the official team. The official Chinese National Women Team was incepted in May 2007. After the National Cricket Tournament Final, a total of 21 girls from 19 school teams were gathered in Shenzhen and underwent vigorous centralised training before a final 14 squad was sent to Bangkok for the ACC Women's Tournament 2007. Domestic Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) is the shortest form of women's international cricket. A women's Twenty20 International is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between two of the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. The first Twenty20 International match was held in August 2004 between England and New Zealand, six months before the first Twenty20 International match was played between two men's teams. Yeonhui Cricket Ground
Yeonhui Cricket Ground is a cricket stadium in Incheon, South Korea built for Cricket at the 2014 Asian Games. The 2014 Asian Games featured cricket for both the men's and the women's event and this ground was used for the cricket matches that were played in the games. It has been reported that the crowd capacity of this ground is 3000. This was the first cricket stadium in South Korea. In 2018, it hosted first ever T20I match between South Korea and China.
