Zeppelinheim Station
Zeppelinheim station is a station in the district of Zeppelinheim of the town of Neu-Isenburg in the German state of Hesse. It is located in the urban periphery of Frankfurt am Main and adjacent to Frankfurt Airport. The station is at the junction with a connecting curve from the Mannheim–Frankfurt railway to Frankfurt Airport long-distance station. Rail services The station is served by line S7 of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn. Each day a single service of the Regionalbahn RB70 each way at night stops at the Zeppelinheim station. On Sundays and public holidays two Regionalbahn trains stop running towards Frankfurt, one in the morning and one in the evening. No Regionalbahn trains stop in the opposite direction on Sundays and holidays. Neu-Isenburg is a town in Germany, located in the Offenbach district of Hesse. It is part of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main urban area and has a population of 38,204 (2020). Frankfurt–Mannheim High-speed Railway
The Frankfurt–Mannheim high-speed railway (''Neubaustrecke Rhein/Main–Rhein/Neckar'') is a planned German high-speed railway between Frankfurt am Main and Mannheim. The approximately 95 kilometre-long line with a top speed of up to 300 km/h, would connect the existing Cologne–Frankfurt and Mannheim–Stuttgart high-speed lines, carrying long-distance passenger traffic and freight that now passes over the Mannheim–Frankfurt railway. It is also part of ''Axis No. 24'' (Lyon/Genoa–Basel–Duisburg–Rotterdam/Antwerp) of the Trans-European Networks. A Zeppelin is a type of rigid airship named after the German inventor Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin () who pioneered rigid airship development at the beginning of the 20th century. The Rhine-Main S-Bahn system is an integrated rapid transit and commuter train system for the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main region, which includes the cities Frankfurt am Main, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Offenbach am Main, Hanau and Darmstadt. The network comprises nine S-Bahn lines, eight of which currently travel through the cornerstone of the system, a tunnel (the "City Tunnel") through central Frankfurt.
