Giovanni "John" Zatara is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. ''Alter Ego'' is an American magazine devoted to comic books and comic-book creators of the 1930s to late-1960s periods comprising what fans and historians call the Golden Age and Silver Age of Comic Books.
