Johann Zanger
Johann Zanger (1557 – 6 September 1607) was a German jurist, professor of law at Wittenberg University. Born in Brunswick, from 1576 Zanger studied law at Wittenberg University under Hugo Donellus. Subsequently studying in Italy, he gained a doctorate at Basel University in 1580. From 1581 onwards he was professor and judge at the aulic court of justice in Wittenberg. He later became a member of the court of lay assessors, the consistory and the regional court of Lower Lusatia. Zanger became first professor of law at Wittenberg in 1594. He was an author condemned in the Index Librorum Prohibitorum The ''Index Librorum Prohibitorum'' ("List of Prohibited Books") was a list of publications deemed heretical or contrary to morality by the Sacred Congregation of the Index (a former Dicastery of the Roman Curia), and Catholics were forbidden ... in 1596. Walter Zanger
Walter Zanger ( he, וולטר זנגר; 1925–2015), was an American-born Israeli author, tour guide and television personality. He was a contributor to newspapers, encyclopedias and magazines, and served as a member of the editorial board of the Jewish Bible Society. Biography Walter Zanger was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1935. He moved with his family to Jerusalem, Israel in 1966 and resided in the city's Ein Karem neighborhood until his death in 2015. Education Zanger graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts '' cum laude'' in 1956. He then studied at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York, graduating with a Bachelor of Hebrew Letters in 1958. Zanger was also a student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received a Masters of Arts from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and was ordained as a Reform rabbi in 1962. Cathrinus "Rinus" Dijkstra (born 19 October 1969), professionally known as Zanger Rinus (Dutch for "Singer Rinus"), is a Dutch musician. Biography In 2009 Rinus released the song Hey Marlous, an adaptation of ''Schöne Maid, hast Du heut' für mich Zeit'' by the German singer Tony Marshall from 1972. ''Hey Marlous'' is about Dutch singer Marlous Oosting. He became well-known among the general public because the television program ''De Wereld Draait Door'' paid attention to it in one of their broadcast in the section ''De tv draait door''. After this followed more clips, such as ''Hé Kastelein'' (2010) and ''Met Romana op de Scooter''.
