Zanger Rinus
Cathrinus "Rinus" Dijkstra (born 19 October 1969), professionally known as Zanger Rinus (Dutch for "Singer Rinus"), is a Dutch musician. Biography In 2009 Rinus released the song Hey Marlous, an adaptation of ''Schöne Maid, hast Du heut' für mich Zeit'' by the German singer Tony Marshall from 1972. ''Hey Marlous'' is about Dutch singer Marlous Oosting. He became well-known among the general public because the television program ''De Wereld Draait Door'' paid attention to it in one of their broadcast in the section ''De tv draait door''. After this followed more clips, such as ''Hé Kastelein'' (2010) and ''Met Romana op de Scooter''. The latter song was put on YouTube on 8 July 2011 and was viewed more than 300,000 times within five days. The song also attracted international attention: on the American news blog ''The Huffington Post'' an article was dedicated to the video. Drachten
Drachten () is a town in the northern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Smallingerland, Friesland. It had a population of around 45,186 in January 2017 and is the second largest town in the province of Friesland. History Beginnings Drachten began as a small community on the east side of the Drait (or Dracht) river. There, early settlers started draining the land to use it for agriculture. As the process of draining progressed, residents began to move further eastward in order to use the drained land—former peatbogs—for agriculture. Around 1200 A.D., a small stone church was built. It was used for 200 years afterward, until rising waters drove people even further east. By 1550 the Dutch peat reserve had been exhausted. Peat had become an important source of energy, not only for private households but also for the industry. Pierre Kartner
Petrus Antonius Laurentius Kartner (11 April 1935 – 8 November 2022) was a Dutch musician, singer-songwriter and record producer who performed under the stage name Vader Abraham (''Father Abraham''). He wrote around 1600 songs. Early life and songwriting Kartner was born on 11 April 1935. He started his singing career at the age of eight, by winning a local festival. He lived with his family in Amsterdam and worked in a chocolate factory. Kartner worked as a promoter and producer at record label Dureco with Annie de Reuver, with whom he formed Duo X. He was a member of the band Corry & de Rekels, which sold over one million records in the 1960s. Kartner wrote the music for the opening and closing credits on the Japanese cartoon adaption of the 1990 TV series ''Moomin'' and " Ik ben verliefd (Shalalie)", the Dutch entry for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data. The list is especially intended for the music industry and those who take an interest in charts. Eric Job van Tijn (born 2 November 1956, in Amsterdam) is a Dutch music producer and judge on the Dutch versions of the music competitions '' Idols'' and ''X Factor''. He comes from a musical family. His parents Eli and Lena van Tijn founded ''Artisound'' the year he was born and he grew up around the studio. In his youth, and during school years, he played in various bands. He also studied composition, arrangement and playing the piano in the conservatory. His initial musical work was producing Patricia Paay. Soon after, he arranged and produced for the Dutch television show '' De Familie Knots'', which resulted in an album also produced by him. It was also the beginning of a long-running cooperation with Jochem Fluitsma.
