Zaman Mehsud
Muhammed Zaman Mehsud (Unknown – 3 November 2015), a Pakistani journalist for Urdu language publications ''Ummat (newspaper), Daily Ummat'' and ''Daily Nai Baat'', as well as the Syrian Arab News Agency, SANA, based in Pakistan, was murdered. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for his killing. Personal Zaman Mehsud is believed to be hailed from South Waziristan, a region that is in the tribal areas of Pakistan. He is survived by his wife and five children—three sons and two daughters—as well as his brother, Muhammad Aslam Khan. He was buried on Wednesday, 14 November 2015, although there is some uncertainty as to where he was buried. The Pakistan Press Foundation reported at the time that the funeral would be held at Narsez IDP camp in the Tank district of Pakistan on Wednesday. The situation of Human Rights in Pakistan ( ur, ) is complex as a result of the country's diversity, large population, its status as a developing country and a sovereign Islamic democracy with a mixture of both Islamic and secular law. The Constitution of Pakistan provides for fundamental rights. The Clauses also provide for an independent Supreme Court, separation of executive and judiciary, an independent judiciary, independent Human Rights commission and freedom of movement within the country and abroad. However these clauses are not respected in practice. The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) is a trade union federation of journalists in Pakistan. PFUJ is affiliated with the International Federation of Journalists. History The constitution of the PFUJ was first adopted in Karachi in April 1950 at the Pakistan Working Journalists Convention, in a meeting opened by Muhammad Zafarullah Khan.
