Hare
Hares and jackrabbits are mammals belonging to the genus ''Lepus''. They are herbivores, and live solitarily or in pairs. They nest in slight depressions called forms, and their young are able to fend for themselves shortly after birth. The genus includes the largest lagomorphs. Most are fast runners with long, powerful hind legs, and large ears to dissipate body heat. Hare species are native to Africa, Eurasia and North America. A hare less than one year old is called a "leveret". A group of hares is called a "husk", a "down" or a "drove". Marcin Zając (born May 19, 1975 in Łódź) is a Polish footballer ( midfielder) who last played for Ruch Chorzów. Career Club He started his career at Start Łódź. In 1996, he was bought by Widzew Łódź, participating in their UEFA Champions League 1996–97 campaign. In 2002, he joined Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski where he played for four years. He spent a couple years at Lech Poznań before transferring to Ruch Chorzów in June 2008. In 2004-2005, Zajac had a trial with Rangers in pre-season matches against Roma and Fulham. Elaine Kathryn Zayak (born April 4, 1965) is an American former figure skater. She is the 1982 World champion and 1981 U.S. national champion. She competed at the 1984 Winter Olympics, placing 6th. Personal life Zayak was born and raised in Paramus, New Jersey. At age two, she lost three toes on her left foot as a result of a lawn mower accident. On the advice of her doctors, she began figure skating as physical therapy. Her left boot was stabilized with a wood mold to compensate for the irregularity in the shape of her left foot. Zayak attended Paramus High School and was awarded the Dial Award for the national high-school scholar-athlete of the year in 1982. Travis Zajac (; ; born May 13, 1985) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre and current head coach. Zajac was selected in the first round, 20th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, with whom he would go on to play for 15 years and over 1,000 NHL games. He also briefly played for the New York Islanders. Playing career Amateur Zajac began his junior ice hockey career with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). One of his teammates was Brady Murray, who would briefly play in the NHL for the Los Angeles Kings, and his linemate was future Calgary Flames winger Kris Chucko. Stanisław Zając (, 1 May 1949 – 10 April 2010) was a Polish lawyer and politician. He was a member of Sejm 1991–1993 and Sejm 1997–2001. On 25 September 2005 he was elected a member of the Sejm again, getting 25,225 votes in 22 Krosno district as a candidate from the Law and Justice list. Zając was born in Święcany. Marcel Dominik Zajac (born April 29, 1998) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for League1 Ontario club Vaughan Azzurri. Early life Zajac was born in Toronto to Polish parents, and later moved to Mississauga at age three. He began playing soccer at age six with local club Erin Mills SC. Afterwards, he joined the Sigma FC academy. College career In 2016, Zajac began attending the University of Akron, where he played for the men's soccer team on a scholarship.
