Zahid Ilyas
Zahid Ilyas is a Retired Vice admiral and flag officer in the Pakistan Navy. He was serving as Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff (Training and Personnel), DCNS-T&P at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad, he took the office as Head of Trainning and Personnel branch of Pakistan Navy. Prior to assuming Special Service Group in 2021 his previous assignments include commanding officer '' PNS Babur'' and '' PNS Zulfiquar''. He was also appointed to Pakistan Naval Academy as a commanding officer. He graduated from the Pakistan Naval War College and the National Defence University besides obtaining a master's degree in military operational research from the UK and naval command course from China. Pakistan Naval War College
The Naval War College is a staff college providing training and education primarily to the mid-career officers of the Pakistan Navy as well as to a limited number of officers from Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army and various allied forces. It is located at Walton, Lahore, Punjab in Pakistan. The Sitara-e-Imtiaz () also spelled as Sitara-i-Imtiaz, is the third-highest (in the order of "Imtiaz") honour and Civil decorations of Pakistan, civilian award in the State of Pakistan. PNS Zulfiquar (F251)
PNS ''Zulfiquar'' (FFG-251) is the lead ship of the F-22P ''Zulfiquar''-class guided missile frigates since 2009. She was designed and constructed by Chinese firm, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in Shanghai, for the Pakistan Navy. The vessel's design is primarily influenced from the Type 053H3 frigate. Design and construction After the bilateral contract was signed between Pakistan and China on 4 April 2006, she was designed and constructed by the Hudong–Zhonghua Shipbuilding Co. in China and her steel cutting was held on 10 October 2006 in Shanghai. She was officially laid down on 24 July 2007 and was launched on 7 April 2008 to complete several sea trials in China. PNS ''Babur'' (D-182) was a that served in the Surface Command of the Pakistan Navy from 1993 until being decommissioned in 2014.
