Zach Norvell
Zachary Norvell Jr. (born December 9, 1997) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball, Gonzaga Bulldogs. Early life Norvell is the son of Tonja Hall and Zachary Norvell, who played basketball in college at Northeastern Illinois Golden Eagles men's basketball, Northeastern Illinois (until the program was disbanded in 1998) and New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball, New Mexico State and coaches at DuSable High School. Growing up, the younger Norvell was an accomplished baseball player but decided to quit to focus on basketball. Jaylon Tate (born January 16, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for the London Lightning of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC). Tate played college basketball for the University of Illinois. High school career Tate attended De La Salle Institute for his first two years of high school and later transferred to Simeon Career Academy. Along with teammates Jabari Parker and Kendrick Nunn, Simeon won consecutive Illinois High School Association state championships in 2012 and 2013. The Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award is an annual basketball award given by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame to the top men's collegiate shooting guard. The award is named after former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard, Jerry West. John R. (born John Richbourg, August 20, 1910 - February 15, 1986) was an American radio disc jockey who attained fame in the 1950s and 1960s for playing rhythm and blues music on Nashville radio station WLAC. He was also a notable record producer and artist manager. Richbourg was arguably the most popular and charismatic of the four announcers at WLAC who showcased popular African-American music in nightly programs from the late 1940s to the early 1970s. McDonald’s All-American
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls. It is rare for girls to compete in the slam dunk contest.
