Zach Neal
Zachary Sheridan Neal (born November 9, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Career Florida/Miami Marlins Neal played college baseball at Sam Houston State University, Howard College, and the University of Oklahoma. He was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 17th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut with the GCL Marlins and also played for the Low-A Jamestown Jammers, accumulating a 2-1 record and 1.44 ERA in 7 games. In 2011, Neal played for the Single-A Greensboro Grasshoppers, posting a 7-6 record and 4.16 ERA in 22 appearances. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Florida Complex League Marlins are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Miami Marlins, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. Prior to the 2021 season, the team was known as the Gulf Coast League Marlins. James Marinan
James Marinan (born October 10, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher. Marinan attended Park Vista Community High School in Lake Worth, Florida. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft. On July 4, 2018, the Dodgers traded Marinan and Aneurys Zabala to the Cincinnati Reds for Dylan Floro and Zach Neal. The Reds added Marinan to their 40-man roster after the 2021 season. Dylan Lee Floro (born December 27, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played college baseball for the Cal State Fullerton Titans. Floro was drafted by the Rays in the 13th round of the 2012 MLB draft, and made his MLB debut in 2016. Amateur career Floro attended Buhach Colony High School in Atwater, California. The Sacramento River Cats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and are the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The Stockton Ports are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.
