James Marinan
James Marinan (born October 10, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher. Marinan attended Park Vista Community High School in Lake Worth, Florida. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft. On July 4, 2018, the Dodgers traded Marinan and Aneurys Zabala to the Cincinnati Reds for Dylan Floro and Zach Neal. The Reds added Marinan to their 40-man roster after the 2021 season. Marinan was designated for assignment on June 11, 2022. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Dylan Lee Floro (born December 27, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played college baseball for the Cal State Fullerton Titans. Floro was drafted by the Rays in the 13th round of the 2012 MLB draft, and made his MLB debut in 2016. Amateur career Floro attended Buhach Colony High School in Atwater, California. The Dayton Dragons are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. They are located in Dayton, Ohio, and play their home games at Day Air Ballpark, formerly known as Fifth Third Field. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
