Z Berg
Elizabeth Anne "Z" Berg (born June 28, 1986) is an American musician. She was a founding member, guitarist, and lead vocalist of the indie rock group the Like. Berg's father is former Geffen Records A&R exec/record producer Tony Berg. Musical career Berg co-founded the Like along with members Charlotte Froom and Tennessee Thomas at the age of 15. Following the hiatus of the Like in 2011, Berg formed the band JJAMZ along with James Valentine (Maroon 5), Jason Boesel ( Bright Eyes/Rilo Kiley), Alex Greenwald (Phantom Planet), and Michael Runion. Their debut album, ''Suicide Pact'', was released on July 10, 2012, via Dangerbird Records. Following Valentine's departure from the band it was renamed Phases, and a new record, '' For Life'', was released under the new name and lineup on September 18, 2015. Tennessee Thomas
Tennessee Thomas (born 17 December 1984) is a British drummer. She is best known as the drummer of bands The Like and Nice as Fuck. As an actress, she has played drummers in fictional bands. Early and personal life Thomas is the daughter of Pete Thomas (drummer), Pete Thomas, drummer for Elvis Costello and the Attractions, and first started playing the drums at the age of 13. She was raised in both London and Los Angeles, forming band The Like when she was in high school in LA. She was dating Mark Ronson in 2009. Career Thomas was a founding member and drummer of the indie rock group The Like. The band formed in 2001, when the group were teenagers; all three of the founding members are daughters of music industry veterans. ''For Life'' is the debut studio album by American indie-pop band Phases, after their first, ''Suicide Pact'', was released under their old name of JJAMZ in 2012. George Ryan Ross III (born August 30, 1986) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter best known for his work as the lead guitarist and primary songwriter of the band Panic! at the Disco before his departure in 2009. "I Go to Sleep" is a song written by Ray Davies, main songwriter for The Kinks, and first released by The Applejacks. It was never recorded by The Kinks, but Ray Davies's demo can be found in reissue bonus tracks of their second studio album '' Kinda Kinks''. Marion version "I Go to Sleep" was covered in 1967 by German singer Marion ( de) (later known as Marion Maerz). The record was produced in London by Larry Page, the producer of The Troggs and manager of The Kinks. The song was released in Germany and the UK. Marion performed this song as the first and only German female singer in the famous German music program Beat Club.
