is a Japanese racing driver. Career Kanamaru's single seater career began in 2012 after graduating from karting. He took a surprise win in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC in 2012 at the final race of the season at Spa-Francorchamps. He made his Formula Renault 3.5 debut in 2015 for Pons Racing replacing Meindert van Buuren. 2014 Euroformula Open Championship
The 2014 Euroformula Open Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that was held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars built by Italian constructor Dallara which conformed to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It was the first edition of the Euroformula Open Championship – following a name change in February 2014 – after five seasons at the European F3 Open Championship. 2020 Formula Regional Japanese Championship
The 2020 Formula Regional Japanese Championship was a multi-event, Formula 3 open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held in Japan. The drivers were competing in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. This was the inaugural season of the championship, and was promoted by K2 Planet. The season started on 1 August at Fuji Speedway and ran until 13 December. The 2015 Macau Grand Prix (formally the 62nd Suncity Group Macau Grand Prix - FIA F3 Intercontinental Cup) was a motor race for Formula Three cars that was held on the streets of Macau on 22 November 2015. Unlike other races, such as the Masters of Formula 3, the 2015 Macau Grand Prix was not a part of any Formula Three championship, but was open to entries from all Formula Three championships. The race itself was made up of two races: a ten-lap qualifying race that decided the starting grid for the fifteen-lap main race. The series changed tyre supplier from Dunlop to Michelin. It was the second Euroformula Open Championship season. RP Motorsport driver Vitor Baptista claimed the championship title by five points (on dropped scores), winning six races during the 2015 campaign, including four consecutive victories during the second half of the season. The runner-up position in the championship went to Konstantin Tereshchenko for Campos Racing, who like Baptista, took six victories during the season.
