Youth In Music
The Youth in Music Band Championships is an annual high school marching band competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is one of the largest marching band events in the Upper Midwest, attracting two dozen competitors and thousands of spectators every year. The 16th Annual championships will be hosted on October 10, 2020, at U.S. Bank Stadium. The first championship was held in 2005. Since 2006, state championship honors have been awarded to competing bands from Minnesota. The competition has been called the YIM Grand Championships and YIM Upper Midwest Championships. The competition and its awards are also known as the YIMMYs. Coon Rapids High School
Coon Rapids High School (CRHS) is a public high school in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, United States. It is part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 and participates in the University of Minnesota's College in the Schools program. Academics The Coon Rapids Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering program is a specialty program within the school. Champlin Park High School is a four-year public high school in Champlin, Minnesota, United States. The school's name comes from the combination of Brooklyn Park and Champlin. Champlin Park's first graduating class was in 1993. CPHS is the third-largest high school in the state, with a student population of 2975. The Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 is a school district in Minnesota, northwest of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. The district serves 13 communities: All of Anoka, Champlin and Coon Rapids, and parts of Andover, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Dayton, Fridley, Ham Lake, Nowthen, Oak Grove and Ramsey. The district's name refers to its geographic span over two counties: it covers the southern portion of Anoka County and the northeast part of Hennepin County.
