Young New England
''Young New England'' is the fourth studio album by pop punk band Transit. Production ''Young New England'' was recorded at Maximum Sound Studios in Danvers, Massachusetts in December 2012. Ted Hutt produced the sessions, with additional production from Gary Cioffi on "Hang It Up" and "Hazy". Cioffi also served as the engineer; John Delloiacono did additional engineering. Cioffi mixed the album, before it was mastered by Nathan James at The Vault Mastering Studios. Release It was released on April 2, 2013, through Rise Records. In October and November, the band supported Taking Back Sunday on their headlining US tour. In April and May 2014, the band supported Mayday Parade on their So Devastating, It's Unnatural Tour in the US. Transit (band)
Transit was an American rock band from Stoneham, Massachusetts. From their formation in 2006 to their 2016 split, they released five albums, four EPs, and a split EP with Man Overboard. Although they largely took influence from emo acts such as Saves the Day, Death Cab for Cutie, American Football, Fairweather, Lifetime, and Hot Water Music their sound transformed from a fusion of pop punk and contemporary emo from their early releases into an indie rock sound by their final release, ''Joyride''. Biography In January 2007, Transit made a demo, two songs of which appeared on their Myspace profile. A few months later, "Shift On" and "Waterways in NE" were posted online prior to the release of ''Let It Out''. Man Overboard is an American pop punk band from Mt. Laurel and Williamstown, New Jersey that began in 2008. Since then, they had released two EPs, an acoustic EP, a split with Boston pop punk band Transit, a compilation and four full-length albums. Taking influence from such pop punk acts as Blink-182, Saves the Day, and Taking Back Sunday, Man Overboard played a brand of upbeat and poppy pop punk with the emotion of 90s emo acts such as The Promise Ring. The band was signed to Rise Records. They are well known for their motto within the pop punk scene to "Defend Pop Punk". Taking Back Sunday is an American rock band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes and bassist Jesse Lacey in 1999. The band's members currently are Adam Lazzara (lead vocals), John Nolan (lead guitar, keyboards, vocals), Shaun Cooper (bass guitar) and Mark O'Connell (drums), accompanied by Nathan Cogan (guitar) for their live performances. The band's former members include Lacey, Reyes, bass guitarist Matthew Rubano, and guitarist and vocalist Fred Mascherino. Lacey quit Taking Back Sunday in 1999 and formed the critically acclaimed rock band Brand New in 2000, with whom Taking Back Sunday would become embroiled in a highly publicized feud. ''Listen & Forgive'' is the third studio album by American pop punk band Transit. Background It is their first release with Rise Records, with whom they signed in December 2010. It was revealed that the band were in the process of writing their next album, planned for release in the fall. In March and April 2011, the band went on tour with Senses Fail. Following this, the band made an appearance at Bled Fest in May. While expressing their interest to open for Patrick Stump's solo show in 2011, they felt that their music was not suitable to open for Stump, and instead brought Stump aboard to feature on "All Your Heart".
