Young's Motorsports is an American professional stock car racing team that competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series. In the Truck Series, they field three full-time Chevrolet Silverados: the No. 02 for Jesse Little and Kaz Grala, the No. 12 for Spencer Boyd, and the No. 20 for multiple drivers. In the ARCA Menards Series, they field the No. 02 Chevrolet SS part-time for Leland Honeyman. Tyler Young (racing Driver)
Tyler Randall Young (born July 15, 1990) is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. He owns Young's Motorsports, a team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series which fields the Nos. 02, 12 and 20 Chevrolet Silverados. He also has been a driver for his own team, last starting a race in 2018. Before stepping back to driving part-time to focus on the ownership side of the team, Young drove his No. 02 full-time in 2014 and 2015. Racing career Early career When he was 12, Young started racing in the International Karting Federation, winning a championship in 2004. Afterwards, he ran races in Hobby Stocks, Sport Modifieds and Modifieds, moving to Mooresville, North Carolina in 2008 to continue his career. Leland Honeyman Jr. (born February 23, 2005) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the Nos. 43/44/45 Chevrolet Camaros for Alpha Prime Racing, the No. 35 Chevrolet Camaro for Emerling-Gase Motorsports and the No. 66 Ford Mustang for MBM Motorsports as well as part-time in the ARCA Menards Series/ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 02 Chevrolet SS for Young's Motorsports. Calypso Lemonade 150
The Calypso Lemonade 150 is an ARCA Menards Series/ARCA Menards Series East combination race held at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. The inaugural race was held on October 15, 2006 and was 250 laps in length. The race was shortened to 200 laps in 2009 and 150 laps in 2013. From 2015 to 2020, the race was held on the same weekend as the IndyCar Series IndyCar Series at Iowa Speedway, race at Iowa. The 2022 ARCA Menards Series is the 70th season of the ARCA Menards Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the Lucas Oil 200 (ARCA), Lucas Oil 200 on February 19 and will end with the ARCA races at Toledo, Shore Lunch 200 at Toledo Speedway on October 8. Daytona International Speedway
Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event. The 2021 ARCA Menards Series season was the 69th season of the ARCA Menards Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the Lucas Oil 200 on February 13 and ended with the Reese's 150 at Kansas Speedway on October 23. Ty Gibbs was crowned the series champion, having won ten times and finished in the top four in 19 of 20 races. Rockingham Speedway
Rockingham Speedway, formerly North Carolina Motor Speedway and later North Carolina Speedway is a racetrack located near Rockingham, North Carolina. It is also known as The Rock and previously hosted NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, ARCA Menards Series, CARS Tour, and UARA-Stars races. The track opened as a flat, one-mile oval on October 31, 1965. In 1969, the track was extensively reconfigured to a high-banked, D-shaped oval just over one mile in length. The North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock Presented by Cheerwine was a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at the Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina. The race consisted of 200 laps, 203.4 miles (320 km). The inaugural race was run on April 15, 2012, and was won by Kasey Kahne. History On September 2, 2011, NASCAR announced that Rockingham Speedway would hold a Camping World Truck Series event for the 2012 season. During the inaugural race, Nelson Piquet Jr. started on the pole position and Kasey Kahne won the race. In 2013, the race went for 205 laps instead of 200 laps because of green-white-checkered rules. 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the eighteenth season of the third highest stock car racing in the United States. The season was contested over twenty-two races, beginning with the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway and ending with the Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. NASCAR announced some changes, including the removal of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, and Lucas Oil Raceway from the schedule, and moving the Phoenix race back to its traditional fall date. In addition, Rockingham Speedway was added to the schedule, the first time NASCAR has raced at Rockingham since 2004.
