Giorgos Gasparis (alternative spellings: Georgios, Giorgios) ( el, Γιώργος Γάσπαρης; born January 31, 1965, in Greece) is a retired Greek professional basketball player. At a height of , he played at the point guard and shooting guard positions. Professional career Gasparis played with Panionios, Aris, Pagrati, and Irakleio. In 1991, Gasparis scored 20 points (being the Top Scorer) in the Greek Cup final game between Panionios and PAOK, leading Panionios to victory. Georgios Kyriakou Iacovou (born 19 July 1938) is a Cypriot diplomat and politician. Iacovou served as Foreign Minister of Cyprus for two consecutive terms from 1983 to 1993 and for a third term from 2003 to 2006, which makes him Cyprus's longest serving Foreign Minister.
