Yamuna Nagar
Yamunanagar (), is a city and a municipal corporation in Yamunanagar district in the Indian state of Haryana. This town is known for the cluster of plywood units and paper industries. It provides timber to larger industries. The older town is called Jagadhri. The Yamunanagar-Jagadhri railway station (YJUD) services the city. Despite its name, Jagadhri Railway Station is situated in Yamunanagar. There is also another railway station called Jagadhri Workshop in Yamunanagar. History This town was part of Ambala district before it was made as separate district in November 1989. The place was earlier known as Abdullahpur which was later renamed by the city's eminent people as Jamnanagar and later on as Yamunanagar. Before independence, it was a small village with most of the population around the railway station, which increased as a result of migration of refugees from West Punjab after the partition. Paonta Sahib is an industrial town of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is located in the south of Sirmaur district, on National Highway 72 ( New NH 7). Paonta Sahib is an important place of worship for Sikhs, hosting a large Gurdwara named Gurudwara Paonta Sahib, on the banks of the river Yamuna. The river is the boundary between the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. History The town was founded by Sikh Guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Kalesar National Park
Kalesar National Park () and adjacent Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary ( are protected areas in Yamunanagar district of Haryana state in India, from Chandigarh. Kalesar National Park was established in 2003. Kalesar National Park and Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary are contiguous to Simbalbara National Park in Himachal Pradesh and Rajaji National Park in Uttrakhand, Uttarakhand. Plywood is a material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.
