Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar
Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar (born Yaduveer Gopalraj Urs, 24 March 1992) is an Indian royal and the biological great-grandson and adoptive grandson of Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar. He was adopted by Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, the wife of Prince Srikantadatta Wadiyar fourteen months after the latter's demise on 10 December 2013. Wadiyar was installed as the "Maharaja of Mysore" in an private ceremony in 2015. Although princely pensions, titles, and privileges are abolished in India, families of former princely rulers have created private roles and styled titles for some within their ranks to preside over family ceremonies and traditions; in some instances, this has been done with a view to sustaining the wealth, fame, and influence that the families possess. Wadiyar Dynasty
The Wadiyar dynasty (formerly spelt Wodeyer or Odeyer, also referred to as the Wadiyars of Mysore), is a late-medieval/ early-modern South Indian Hindu royal family of former kings of Mysore from the Urs clan originally based in Mysore city. As Maharajas of Mysore, the Wadiyars ruled the Kingdom of Mysore from the late 1300s until 1950. Members of the Wadiyar dynasty and the Urs clan have also been royal advisers as Diwans to their reigning siblings, cousins, nephews, or distant relatives. Some members have also commanded army divisions as ''dalvoys'' (commander-in-chief) for their reigning monarch. Dungarpur State was a princely state during the British Raj. Its capital was the city of Dungarpur in the southernmost area of present-day Rajasthan State in India. In 1901 the total population of Dungarpur State was 100,103, while that of the town was 6094 Dungarpur is the seat of elder branch of Sisodiyas of Udaipur, while the younger branch is the seat of the Maharana of Mewar.
