Yadavalli Suryanarayana
Yadavalli Suryanarayana () (1888–1939) was an Indian actor and thespian known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He made his transition from theater to cinema in 1932. He contributed to the Telugu theatre for over three decades. Early life Suryanarayana was born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh in a Telugu Vaidika Brahmin family. He was the eldest son to Yadavalli Ramakrishnayya and Vengamamba. His elder sister Seetha died early. His other siblings were Gopala Krishna, Venkata Subbu Lakshmi and Rama Rao. His father was an officer in the British Government. Coming from an educated family, Suryanarayana successfully completed matriculation, learned Sanskrit and Telugu language, Telugu along with Panchakavyas. He started performing on stage while he was still a student. Arjuna (Sanskrit: अर्जुन, ), also known as Partha and Dhananjaya, is a character in several ancient Hindu texts, and specifically one of the major characters of the Indian epic Mahabharata. Dushyanta ( sa, दुष्यन्त, translit=Duṣyanta) is a king of the Chandravamsha (Lunar) dynasty featured in Hindu literature. He is the husband of Shakuntala and the father of Bharata. He appears in the Mahabharata and in Kalidasa's play, Abhijnanashakuntalam ( 300 CE). ''Draupadi Vastrapaharanam'' () () is a 1936 Indian Telugu-language film directed by H. V. Babu, brother-in-law of noted filmmaker H. M. Reddy. It was made to compete with ''Draupadi Manasamrakshanam'' (1936). This film was a major box office success, whereas ''Draupadi Manasamrakshanam'' failed. The film is remembered for the rendition of poems with acting performances by C. S. R. Anjaneyulu and Yadavalli Suryanarayana. Plot The story is based on the Mahabharata episode of Draupadi Vastrapaharanam. It depicts the episode in which Draupadi is publicly humiliated by the Kaurava, Kauravas. Duryodhana
Duryodhana ( sa, दुर्योधन, ) also known as Suyodhana, is the primary antagonist in the Hindu epic ''Mahabharata.'' He was the eldest of the Kauravas, the hundred sons of the blind king Dhritarashtra and his queen Gandhari. Being the first-born son of the blind king, he was the crown prince of the Kuru Kingdom and its capital of Hastinapura, often forced into ceding the title to his cousin Yudhishthira, who was older than him. Karna was the prince's closest friend. Notably, Duryodhana, with significant assistance from Karna, performs the Vaishnava Yagna when the Pandavas are in exile. Duryodhana used his greater skill in wielding the mace to defeat his opponents. He was also an extremely courageous warrior and was said to be a good ruler.
