Yaaradi Nee Mohini
''Yaaradi Nee Mohini'' () is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Mithran Jawahar. It is a remake of the 2007 Telugu hit Selvaraghavan's ''Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule'' and stars Dhanush, Selvaraghavan's brother, and Nayanthara in lead roles, whilst Karthik Kumar, Raghuvaran, Telugu film director K. Vishwanath, Karunas, and Saranya Mohan play supporting roles and slightly different climax. The music was scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The title is derived from a song from the 1958 Sivaji Ganesan- Padmini starrer '' Uthama Puthiran''. ''Yaaradi Nee Mohini'' was released on 4 April 2008, becoming highly successful at the box office, emerging as one of the highest grossing Tamil films of the year. Mithran Jawahar
Mithran R. Jawahar (born 8 June 1979) is an Indian film director who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. Career Jawahar, an erstwhile assistant of Selvaraghavan, began working on his first film starring Dhanush in December 2004. A remake of the Telugu film ''Arya'' (2004), the film was later put on hold and restarted at a later date. As a result, his debut venture was the 2008 film ''Yaaradi Nee Mohini'', starring Dhanush and Nayantara, which was a runaway hit. Padmini Ramachandran (12 June 1932 – 24 September 2006) was an Indian actress and trained Bharatanatyam dancer, who acted in over 250 Indian films. She acted in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Russian language films. Padmini, with her elder sister Lalitha and her younger sister Ragini, were called the "Travancore sisters". Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films.
