Yōsuke Kuroda
is a Japanese anime screenwriter from Mie Prefecture, Japan. He has his own studio enterprise, Studio Orphee. Kuroda is noted for his work on authoring the scenario, screenplay and story composition of the anime series ''Excel Saga'', ''Please Teacher!'' and its sequel ''Please Twins!'', ''Honey and Clover'', ''Mobile Suit Gundam 00'' and numerous others. In 2003, Kuroda won the Individual Award at the 8th Animation Kobe event, held annually in Kobe. He has collaborated with fellow screenwriter and novelist Hideyuki Kurata on multiple series, including ''Goblin Slayer'', ''Hellsing Ultimate'', and ''Drifters''. Anime
is Traditional animation, hand-drawn and computer animation, computer-generated animation originating from Japan. Outside of Japan and in English, ''anime'' refers specifically to animation produced in Japan. However, in Japan and in Japanese, (a term derived from a shortening of the English word ''animation'') describes all animated works, regardless of style or origin. Infinite Ryvius
is a 26 episode drama/sci-fi series produced by Sunrise. The character and mecha designs in ''RYVIUS'' were created by Hisashi Hirai, who later went on to act as the character designer for ''Gundam SEED''. The series is also noted for its music, a blend of western R&B/hip-hop music with J-pop vocals. This is evident in the opening song, "dis–", performed by bilingual Japanese-American singer Mika Arisaka. Most of the vocal songs were composed by M.I.D. and the thematic background instrumentals by Katsuhisa Hattori. The anime was originally licensed by Bandai Entertainment in North America before it ended up going out of print in 2012. Ring Ni Kakero
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada. It was published in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' between January 1977 and October 1981. The individual chapters were compiled by Shueisha into twenty-five ''tankōbon'' volumes. A sequel entitled ''Ring ni Kakero 2'' was serialized in '' Super Jump'' between 2000 and 2008. is a 26-episode Japanese anime television series produced in 2004 by the Bee Train animation studio. Kōichi Mashimo directed ''Madlax'' and the soundtrack was composed by Yuki Kajiura. is a Japanese manga series and a PlayStation 2 video game created by Namco. The video game and manga were both initially released in Japan in 2003. Studio Deen produced a 12-episode anime television series broadcast on TBS in Japan in 2004. Ground Defense Force! Mao-chan
, also known as ''Earth Defender! Mao-chan'', is a 26-episode anime created by Xebec. It stars three eight-year-old girls, Mao, Misora and Sylvia, as they try to defend the earth against invading aliens. The world's defense has fallen to unlikely straits because the aliens are excessively cute, of which combat engagements are televised: if the forces battling the aliens were not cute themselves, the general public would revolt, as it would be seen as "bullying". Consequently, three military leaders chose their granddaughters to be the defenders, fittingly, becoming a team even cuter than the aliens. They each have a clover-shaped badge that enables them to transform. (This transformation provides no apparent special ability.) Steel Angel Kurumi
is a Japanese manga series created by Kaishaku. An anime series adaptation directed by Naohito Takahashi, animated by Oriental Light and Magic, produced by Pony Canyon with character designs by Yuriko Chiba and Yūji Ikeda and music by Toshihiko Sahashi has been translated and released in North America by ADV Films.
