Yüksek Sadakat
Yüksek Sadakat is a Turkish rock band that was formed in 1997 by Kutlu Özmakinacı, but became popular in early 2006 with their first album with the same name. The founder and bass player Kutlu Özmakinacı, used to be the editor of a music magazine called '' Blue Jean''. Their music is a mix of pop rock with powerful beats utilizing Turkish instruments, keyboard and guitar solos. The name of the band is a literal translation of the term "High Fidelity" (Hi-Fi) into Turkish. Firstly established by the name ''"Filinta"'' the band change its name to "Yüksek Sadakat" in 2004. Founder and the songwriter of the band is the bassist ''Kutlu Özmakinacı.'' On 1 January 2011, it was announced that the band will represent Turkey in Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song called " Live It Up", On May 10, Yüksek Sadakat failed to qualify for the Eurovision final making the band the first Turkish act to miss the final since the introduction of the semifinals in 2004. Turkey participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Love Me Back" written and performed by Can Bonomo. The entry was selected through an internal selection organised by Turkish broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu (TRT). Can Bonomo
Can Bonomo (Hebrew: ג'אן בונומו, born 16 May 1987) is a Turkish-Jewish singer who represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Early life Bonomo was born in İzmir, Turkey to a Sephardic Jewish family. At the age of 17, he began his official career as a vocal productionist in Istanbul. At the same time, Bonomo went on with studying TV and cinema at the Istanbul Bilgi University with his programmes being aired on popular radio channels such as Number 1 FM, Radio101 and Radio Class. Then his radio programmes were followed by programmes in international TV channels such as MTV and Number One TV. Also, he composed the songs for other singers. "We Could Be the Same" ( tr, Aynı Olabiliriz) is a song by Turkish band maNga that was performed as the Turkish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, held in Oslo, Norway, and which came in second place. There are 3 versions available on official CD single, called as Brussels (Eurovision version), Istanbul (Single version), and Stockholm (Extended version).
