Yws Gwynedd is a Welsh rock band from North Wales named after its lead singer Ywain Gwynedd. Background The band achieved acclaim after their debut album '' Codi / \ Cysgu'' ("''wake-up /\ sleep''" in Welsh) in 2014 which won Best LP at Y Selar music awards that year and was nominated for best Welsh-language album at the Eisteddfod in 2015. Their second album was released in 2017 having been recorded in two weeks. It was nominated for the 2017 Welsh-language album of the year award. and won the best album at Y Selar's awards. Gwynedd
Gwynedd (; ) is a county and preserved county (latter with differing boundaries; includes the Isle of Anglesey) in the north-west of Wales. It shares borders with Powys, Conwy County Borough, Denbighshire, Anglesey over the Menai Strait, and Ceredigion over the River Dyfi. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was the sixteenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by the Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Festival N°6 (Festival Number 6) is an annual art and music festival held in and around Portmeirion, North Wales. The festival presents a wide range of music genres across multiple stages. It is advertised as a family-friendly festival, and as such various areas of the festival are targeted to families, such as "No.6's Mischief Meadow" for children and a designated family camping area. In 2013 one of the organizers stated that due to the size of the village the festival was not likely to grow beyond 10,000 attendees across the weekend.
