''Yvonne Elliman'' is the debut album by American pop music star Yvonne Elliman, recorded and released in 1972 on Decca Records. It was produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, for Qwertyuiop Productions, and features the single "I Don't Know How To Love Him". It also features covers of "Can't Find My Way Home" by Blind Faith, Nothing Rhymed by Raymond O'Sullivan, better known as his stage name, Gilbert O'Sullivan, "World In Changes" and "Look At You, Look At Me" both by Dave Mason, "I Would Have Had A Good Time" by John Kongos, "Speak Your Mind" by Marc Benno and "Sugar Babe" by Stephen Stills. Yvonne Elliman
Yvonne Marianne Elliman (born December 29, 1951) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who performed for four years in the first cast of the stage musical ''Jesus Christ Superstar''. She scored a number of hits in the 1970s and achieved a US #1 hit with "If I Can't Have You (Bee Gees song), If I Can't Have You". The song also reached #9 on the Adult Contemporary chart and number 4 in the UK Chart. Her cover of Barbara Lewis's "Hello Stranger" went to #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and "Love Me (Bee Gees song), Love Me" was also #5, giving her 3 top 10 singles. After a long hiatus in the 1980s and 1990s, during which time she dedicated herself to her family, she made a comeback album as a singer-songwriter in 2004. Marc Benno
Marc Benno (born July 1, 1947 in Dallas, Texas) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Benno teamed with Leon Russell to form the Asylum Choir in the late 1960s. He launched a solo career in the early 1970s, with the 1972 album ''Ambush'' being his most commercially successful. He wrote the song "Rock 'n Roll Me Again", which was recorded by the band The System for the soundtrack of the 1985 film ''Beverly Hills Cop''; the soundtrack won a Grammy Award. Benno also worked with musicians such as The Doors, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clarence White and Rita Coolidge. Bruce Rowland (22 May 1941 – 29 June 2015) was an English rock drummer best known for his memberships of The Grease Band and folk rock band Fairport Convention. He was also a prolific session musician. Early career Rowland was born at Park Royal, Middlesex, on 22 May 1941. In 1968, he played drums on the Wynder K. Frog album "''Out of the Frying Pan''", and in 1969 joined The Grease Band, who were then Joe Cocker's backing band. He played for Cocker's performance at the Woodstock Festival, on Cocker's second album, ''Joe Cocker!'', and on the UK top ten hit single "Delta Lady". In 1970, Cocker and the Grease Band parted company, and Rowland stayed with the latter for their albums ''The Grease Band'' (1971) and ''Amazing Grease''. Louis Stewart (5 January 1944 – 20 August 2016) was an Irish jazz guitarist. Life and career Born in Waterford, Ireland, Stewart grew up in Dublin. He began playing guitar when he was thirteen, influenced by guitarists Les Paul and Barney Kessel. Stewart began his professional career performing in Dublin showbands. In 1968, he won an award as the most outstanding soloist at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Soon after, he spent three years with Benny Goodman. Linda Ellen November (born October 16, 1944) is an American singer who has sung tens of thousands of commercial jingles. She was the voice of the singing cat in the Meow Mix commercials, sang the jingle "Galaxy Glue" in the 1981 film ''The Incredible Shrinking Woman'', the "Coke and a Smile" jingle in the classic Mean Joe Greene Super Bowl commercial, and has won many Clio Awards for her work on television and radio. David Spinozza is an American guitarist and producer. He worked with former Beatles Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and John Lennon during the 1970s, and had a long collaboration with singer-songwriter James Taylor, producing Taylor's album ''Walking Man''. Career Spinozza worked with McCartney during sessions for McCartney's ''Ram'' album during 1971. When the chance came to work with Lennon two years later, as Yoko Ono prepared her ''Feeling the Space'' album and Lennon his ''Mind Games'', Spinozza discovered that Lennon was not aware he had previously worked with McCartney, and was afraid he would be fired if Lennon found out, given their recent feuding in the media.
