Yvon Of The Yukon
''Yvon of the Yukon'' is a Canadian- Chinese animated television series produced by Studio B Productions (now known as "WildBrain") and Corus Entertainment in association with Alliance Atlantis Communications. It was produced with the participation of the Canadian Television Fund and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit with the assistance of British Columbia Film and the Film Incentive BC grant from the province of British Columbia. Based in the fictional Canadian town of Upyermukluk, the show premiered on YTV during Fall 2000, and aired with the final episode on January 24, 2004. Premise ''Yvon of the Yukon'' is about a French explorer, Yvon Ducharme, who embarks on a voyage to North America on behalf of "King Louis" (Louis XIV of France). Ian James Corlett
Ian James Corlett (born August 29, 1962) is a Canadian voice actor, animator, and author. He is the creator of Studio B Productions' animated series ''Being Ian'' and ''Yvon of the Yukon''. One of his best-known animation roles was the first English voice of adult Goku in the Ocean dub of ''Dragon Ball Z'' in 1996–1997. Career Corlett began his career in 1984. In addition to programming some drum tracks and helping with some computer sequences on Queensrÿche's album '' Operation: Mindcrime'', and also selling the band some music gear in the 1980s, Corlett also lent his voice to several animated series produced/dubbed in Canada.
