The total area is 56.84 km2, making it a population density of 149 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Dorinne, Durnal, Evrehailles, Godinne, Houx, Mont, Purnode, Spontin and Yvoir. Dinant () is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Namur, Belgium. On the shores of river Meuse, in the Ardennes, it lies south-east of Brussels, south-east of Charleroi and south of the city of Namur. Dinant is situated north of the border with France. The total area is 147.56 km² which gives a population density of 111 inhabitants per km².
