Mettet (; wa, Metet) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Namur, Belgium. On 1 January 2006 Mettet had 11,977 inhabitants. The total area is 116.78 km², giving a population density of 103 inhabitants per km². Gennady Komnatov
Gennady Viktorovich Komnatov (russian: Геннадий Викторович Комнатов; 18 September 1949 – 1 April 1979) was a Russian road cyclist. He was part of the Soviet team that won a gold medal in the 100 km team time trial at the 1972 Summer Olympics The 1972 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XX Olympiad () and commonly known as Munich 1972 (german: München 1972), was an international multi-sport event held in Munich, West Germany, from 26 August to 11 September 1972. .... He won three silver medals at the world championships in 1973–1975 in this event. Komnatov was the eldest sibling in a family of four brothers and one sister. Influenced by Gennady, two of his younger brothers, Vasily and Stanislav, became cycling coaches. Komnatov died aged 29 in a traffic accident. Keetie Van Oosten-Hage
Cornelia (Keetie) Hage, known by her married name Keetie van Oosten-Hage, (born 21 August 1949) is a Dutch former cyclist from Sint-Maartensdijk, Zeeland. She came from a family of cyclists, sister of Bella Hage, Heleen Hage and Ciska Hage, and aunt to Jan van Velzen. She was the national pursuit champion 12 times consecutively and won the national road championship nine times, eight times consecutively. She was the World Road Cycling Champion twice, first in 1968 under her maiden name of Cornelia (Keetie/Katie) Hage, then again in 1976 in her married name (shown here). She is one of the great women competitors of all time in international cycling. On 16 September 1978, Hage set a world hour record at Munich with 43.082 km. She improved the world 5 km, 10 km and 20 km records in the same ride. UCI Road World Championships – Women's Road Race
The UCI Road World Championships Elite Women's Road Race is a one-day event for professional cyclists that takes place annually. The winner is considered the ''World Cycling Champion'' (or ''World Road Cycling Champion'') and earns the right to wear the ''Rainbow Jersey'' for a full year in road race or stage events. The event is a single 'mass start' road race with the winner being the first across the line at the completion of the full race distance. Vladimír Vondráček, M.D. (February 23, 1895, Prague – May 10, 1978) was a leading Czech psychiatrist. He is considered one of the founders of Czech medical psychology, psychopharmacology, dietetics and psychiatric sexology. After World War II, Vondráček became the "legendary head physician" at the Psychiatric Clinic in Prague. He was an important popularizer of psychiatry and related sciences, and contributed to the integration of the mentally ill into normal life. Vondráček is the author of about 225 studies and books, of which probably the best known is his work ''Fantastické a magické z hlediska psychiatrie'' (Fantastic and Magical from the Viewpoint of Psychiatry). Vlastimil Moravec (7 May 1949 – 15 April 1986) was a Czech cyclist. He competed at the 1972 in Munich and 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal in the 100 km team time trial and individual road race, respectively; he finished in 13th place in both events. He won a bronze medal at the 1975 UCI Road World Championships in the team time trial.
