Yuriy Vernydub
Yuriy Mykolayovych Vernydub ( uk, Юрій Миколайович Вернидуб; born 22 January 1966) is a Ukrainian professional football coach and former player. Career Vernydub made his professional debut in the Soviet Second League in 1983 for FC Spartak Zhytomyr. From June 2009, he was an assistant coach with FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia. After a spell as an assistant coach with FC Zorya Luhansk he was made interim head coach in November 2011 after Zorya's management dismissed head coach Anatoly Chantsev. He stayed at Zorya until 31 May 2019. After leaving Zorya, he coached Belarusian club Shakhtyor Soligorsk. He was appointed manager of Moldovan National Division club Sheriff Tiraspol on 18 December 2020. He won the 2020–21 Moldovan National Division in his first season at the club. 2020 Belarusian Premier League
The 2020 Belarusian Premier League was the 30th season of top-tier football in Belarus. Dynamo Brest were the defending champions, having won their first league title last year. Shakhtyor Soligorsk became champions on the last play date by beating FC Minsk 4–2. Meanwhile, BATE Borisov didn't win and drew 0–0 at Dinamo Minsk so Shaktyor Soligorsk finished 1 point above BATE in the table and will play in the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League. Belarusian Premier League
The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier. Moldovan National Division
The Moldovan Super Liga is an association football league that is currently the top division of Moldovan football league system. The competition was established in 1992, when the country became independent from the Soviet Union. It was formed in place of former Soviet republican competitions that existed since 1945. Before the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina in 1940, clubs from modern Moldova competed in the Romanian football competitions, particularly Nistru Chișinău. There are currently eight teams in the competition. At the end of the season, the bottom club is relegated to the Moldovan Liga 1 and replaced by the lower league's champion.
