Yumnam Gopi Singh (born 1 February 1999) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or winger for NEROCA in the I-League. Career Born to a Hindu Meitei family in Manipur, Singh began his career with local side NEROCA in the I-League. He made his professional debut for the club on 1 December 2017 against Minerva Punjab. He started and played 50 minutes as NEROCA lost 2–1. On 25 May 2018, Singh signed with ATK of the Indian Super League. Mid-way through the season, Singh was replaced in the senior squad by Ashish Pradhan. Wangjing ( Meitei pronunciation: /waŋ.jiŋ/) is a town and a municipal council in Thoubal district in the Indian state of Manipur. The 2019 I-League 2nd Division (known as Hero 2018–19 I-League 2nd Division for sponsorship reasons), was the 12th season of the I-League 2nd Division, the second division Indian football league, since its establishment in 2008. 2017–18 I-League
The 2017–18 I-League was the 11th season of the I-League. Aizawl were the defending champions. NEROCA entered as the promoted team from the 2016–17 I-League 2nd Division. The season began on 25 November 2017. Teams All India Football Federation invited bids for new teams on 21 July 2017 from Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Ranchi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Malappuram and Trivandrum, among others. On 20 September, after second round of bidding invitation, the Bid Evaluation Committee decided to award Sree Gokulam Group the right to field their team in the Hero I-League 2017–18 season onward from Kozhikode, Kerala. Jamshedpur Football Club Reserves and Academy are the reserve side and youth tier setup of Indian Super League side Jamshedpur.
