Yuki Bhambri
Yuki Bhambri (born 4 July 1992) is an Indian professional tennis player. He is a former junior no. 1 and winner of the 2009 Australian Open Junior Championship. He is the first Indian to win the junior Australian Open title and the fourth Indian in history to capture a junior singles title at a Grand Slam championship. He represents India in the Davis Cup. Personal and early life He started playing tennis at the age of 6 years. His father is Chander and mother is Indu. He is the youngest in the family. His sisters are Ankita Bhambri and Sanaa Bhambri, and he is the cousin of Prerna Bhambri and Prateek Bhambri, all of whom are professional tennis players. Junior tennis refers to tennis matches where the participants are aged 18 and under. The 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games (Hindi: 2008 कॉमनवेल्थ यूथ गेम्स), officially known as the III Commonwealth Youth Games, and commonly known as Pune 2008, a regional sporting event that was held from 12 to 18 October 2008 in Pune, India, a city in the state of Maharashtra. The Commonwealth Youth Games (CYG) is an international multi-sport event organized by the Commonwealth Games Federation. The games were held in the years, mid-way between when the Commonwealth Games are held, until 2008. They continued to be held every four years, but in the year ''after'' the Commonwealth Games are held, from 2011 to 2015. Tennis at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics lasted from August 18 until August 25. For the Singles competitions, all matches were determined through a best-of-three tie-break sets. For the Doubles competitions, all matches were determined by two tie-break sets and a match tie-break game (10 points) in place of a third set. There were competitions for boys' singles, boys' doubles, girls' singles and girls' doubles. It took place at the Kallang Tennis Centre. The Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is an international multi-sport event for athletes between 15 and 18 years old, organized by the International Olympic Committee.
