Yuhua Secondary School (YHSS) is a co-educational government school in Jurong West, Singapore which offers the Express, Normal (Academic) and Normal (Technical) streams. It was founded in 1986. History Yuhua Secondary School The school began operations in 1986. In the 1990s, the school was well known for its hockey team. From 2013 to 2014, the school was upgraded under the Programme for Rebuilding and Improving Existing Schools scheme. Jurong West is a planning area and residential town located in the West Region of Singapore. Jurong West shares boundaries with Tengah in the north, Jurong East in the east, Boon Lay and Pioneer in the south, and Western Water Catchment in the west. Originally a forested area, Jurong West is undergoing rapid development under the ambition of the Housing and Development Board (HDB) to transform it into a fully mature housing estate. Jurong East is a planning area and residential town situated in the West Region of Singapore. It borders Jurong West and Boon Lay to the west, Clementi to the east, Tengah and Bukit Batok to the north and Selat Jurong to the south.
