Ys Seven
is a 2009 action role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom. An installment in the ''Ys'' series, it was first released in Japan for the PlayStation Portable in September 2009, and later by Xseed Games in North America in August 2010, in Europe in November 2010, and in Australia in February 2013. It was also released for Windows in China in June 2012, and worldwide by Xseed Games in August 2017. Plot Adol and Dogi reach the kingdom of Altago in an attempt to find more adventure. While exploring the town, they get into trouble trying to save two sisters who were being harassed by the local Dragon Knights, which is the army force of Altago. is a Japanese video game developer, best known for their '' Ys'', '' The Legend of Heroes'', and ''Trails'' series. The company was founded in March 1981, making them one of the oldest active video game companies. They are credited with pioneering the action role-playing and Japanese role-playing game genres, as well as popularizing the use of personal computers in Japan. ''Destructoid'' is a website that was founded as a video game-focused blog in March 2006 by Yanier Gonzalez, a Cuban-American cartoonist and author. Enthusiast Gaming acquired the website in 2017, and sold it to Gamurs Group in 2022. Xseed Games is an American video game company founded by former members of Square Enix USA. It later became a subsidiary of the Japanese game company Marvelous, providing the localization and publishing services for video games and related materials.
