Liberal Alliance Youth ( da, Liberal Alliances Ungdom) is the youth wing of the Liberal Alliance, a political party in Denmark. History The organization was formed by 21 people under the name of Young Alliance ( da, Ung Alliance). on 22 February 2008 in Christiansborg. Following the parent party's name change from New Alliance to Liberal Alliance in August 2008, the youth organization also changed its name to Liberal Alliance Youth on 31 January 2009. In the period between 2008 and 2022, the organisation had a total of 11 chairmen. Liberal Alliance (Denmark)
The Liberal Alliance ( in Danish) is a classical liberal and right-libertarian political party in Denmark. The party is a component of the centre-right bloc in Danish politics. The party's platform is based upon economic liberalism, promotion of tax cuts and reduction of welfare programmes, and a critical, oppositional stance towards European integration. From November 2016 to June 2019, the Liberal Alliance was part of a three-party coalition government with the Liberal Party (Venstre) and the Conservative People's Party. Nordic Youth Council
The Nordic Youth Council ( Scandinavian: ''Ungdommens Nordiske Råd''), abbreviated UNR, is a forum organization of the Nordic Council. It consists of the member countries' youth wing parties. History The youth wing parties of the Nordic Council have, since the council's foundation in 1952, held independent seminars before the Nordic Council's sessions. The purpose of the seminar was to discuss the subjects on the council's agenda. In the late 1960s it was discussed to create an independent organization for the youth wing parties. A trial session was held in Stockholm in 1971. Creating the UNR as an independent organization was dismissed, but the yearly seminars continued. Christiansborg Palace ( da, Christiansborg Slot; ) is a palace and government building on the islet of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the seat of the Danish Parliament ('), the Danish Prime Minister's Office, and the Supreme Court of Denmark. Also, several parts of the palace are used by the Danish monarch, including the Royal Reception Rooms, the Palace Chapel and the Royal Stables. Alex Dominique Kristensen Vanopslagh (born 17 October 1991) is a French-born Danish politician. He is a member of the Folketing, and party leader of the Liberal Alliance. He is a former chairman of its youth wing, Liberal Alliance Youth. Early life and education Alex Vanopslagh, who was born in Épernay, France, moved to Denmark when he was five, and grew up in Struer.
