Youn In-Wan
Youn In-wan (, born July 27, 1976) is a South Korean ''manhwa'' writer. In Japan, he is known for his work ''Blade of the Phantom Master''. Prior to that, he worked on the manhwa ''Island'' (아일랜드) with illustrator Yang Kyung-il. After the publication of the seventh and last volume of ''Island'', he wrote a novel, ''The Island'', in which he described the past of the characters in his manhwa. He has also been featured in the Korean weekly magazine ''Deja Vu'' (데자뷰). He is known for adding comments at the end of every chapter in ''Blade of the Phantom Master''. In omake style shorts, he is represented as being a lean bespectacled character who is a brash loud mouth, and who is often shown leading his quiet illustrator Yang around. Blade Of The Phantom Master
/() is a South Korean-Japanese manhwa series created by Youn In-wan and illustrated by Yang Kyung-il. The story takes place in a world reminiscent of ancient Korea, and follows the Korean-folktale-inspired adventures of Munsu, one of the few remaining guardians against corruption and tyranny, as he seeks to find those responsible for the destruction of his country. It was serialized from 2001 to 2007 in South Korea (as ''Shin amhaengosa'') and in Japan (as ''Shin Angyō Onshi''), and was adapted into an anime theatrical-release film in 2004 in a first-of-its-kind collaboration between Japan and South Korea. Weekly Young Sunday
was a weekly manga magazine published by Shogakukan in Japan since the first issue on March 27, 1987. It replaced ''Shōnen Big Comic'' in Shogakukan's lineup of shōnen titles, and many of the titles in ''Shōnen Big Comic'' were continued in ''Young Sunday''. The magazines was sometimes called for short. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of ''Weekly Young Sunday'', Shogakukan and Yahoo! Auctions Japan held a charity auction benefitting the Green Cross Japan. It was serialized by Shogakukan in ''Weekly Shōnen Sunday'' from April 2009 to June 2011. The story is about a banished demon named Kucabara who decides to become a Defense Devil in order to gather up dark matter which he needs to regain his devil powers again.
