Yoon Ga-eun
Yoon Ga-eun (born February 15, 1982) is a South Korean film director and script writer. Her films explore the stories of young children and youth. Career Yoon Ga-eun graduated from the History Department of Sogang University and continued her graduate studies at the School of Film, TV & Multimedia at Korea National University of Arts. Her first film as a director was a 19-minute short film, ''The Taste of Salvia'', introduced in 2009. Shortly afterwards, she directed several films including ''Proof'' (2010), ''Guest'' (2011), ''Sprout'' (2013), ''Tabloid Truth'' (2014) and ''The World of Us'' (2015). Her first breakthrough film was ''Guest'' (2011), a movie perceptively capturing a phase of the growing pains that a pubescent high school girl experiences. Zlín Film Festival, also known as the International Film Festival for Children and Youth ( cs, Mezinárodní festival filmů pro děti a mládež) is an annual festival of children's film in Zlín in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1961 in the former Czechoslovakia, the festival gradually gained international attention. 27th Busan International Film Festival
The 27th Busan International Film Festival () was held from October 5 at the Busan Cinema Center in Busan, South Korea till October 14. This year, the festival restarted events and program sections which were not conducted due to COVID-19 for last 2 years. The festival opened with Iranian film ''Scent of the Wind'' by director Seyed Hadi Mohaghegh, Jeon Yeo-been with Ryu Jun-yeol were master of ceremonies for the opening ceremony. The Aspen Shortsfest is an annual Oscar® qualifying short film festival held in Aspen, Colorado. The internationally-recognized festival began in 1979. The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF, previously Pusan International Film Festival, PIFF), held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan (''also'' Pusan), South Korea, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia.
