Yoav Cohen
Yoav Cohen ( he, יואב כהן; born 30 August 1999) is an Israeli windsurfer. In 2020 he won the RS:X European Championships, and In 2021 he represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished 4th in Men's RS:X. Biography His parents are Hananel and Isabel. Cohen was born in Ganei Yehuda, Israel, where until he was two years old his family lived in a trailer. He and his family then lived in kibbutz Kadima, and then in Caesarea, Israel. His sailing club is Sdot Yam Sailing Club. In 2013, at age 13, Cohen won the Techno 293 Under 15 World Championships in Sopot, Poland. Cohen was the 2017 youth world champion, after winning the 47th Youth Sailing World Championships in Sanya, China. He won the 2018 Medemblik Regatta (formerly Delta Lloyd Regatta) in Medemblik, the Netherlands. Cohen won the gold medal at the 2020 RS:X European Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal. Israel At The 2020 Summer Olympics
Israel competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo with its largest contingent to date − a delegation of 90 athletes, 55 men and 35 women, who competed in 15 different sports. This was almost double the previous number of 47 athletes who represented Israel at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. The Games were also Israel's most successful to date, winning four medals, including two gold. At Tokyo, Israel marked its Olympic debuts in surfing (new to the 2020 Games), baseball (returning to the Games), archery, equestrian and marathon swimming. Israel returned home from Tokyo with two gold and two bronze medals, a record number of medals won by Israel in one Olympics. Ganei Yehuda
Ganei Yehuda ( he, גני יהודה) was a moshav founded in 1950 in the Ono Valley (), adjacent to the cities of Yehud and Kiryat Ono. Ganei Yehuda was officially merged with Savyon in 2003. The moshav was named "Ganei Yehuda" after the biblical figure Judah whom was the fourth son of Jacob and Leah and the founder of the Israelite Tribe of Judah. Vilamoura
Vilamoura is a coastal resort in the Loulé municipality in Algarve, Portugal. It is one of the three corners of Algarve's Golden Triangle. Vilamoura comprises one of the largest single tourist complexes in Europe and with about 2,000 hectares of land. The nearest airport is in Faro. The area previously hosted the annual Almond Blossom Cross Country competition between 1996 and 2003, and the same course was selected as the venue for the 2000 IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
