Love Hurts
"Love Hurts" is a song written and composed by the American songwriter Boudleaux Bryant. First recorded by the Everly Brothers in July 1960, the song is most well known from the 1974 international hit version by Scottish hard rock band Nazareth and 1975 Top 5 hit in the UK by English singer Jim Capaldi. Appearances The song was introduced in October 1960 as an album track on ''A Date with The Everly Brothers'' but was never released as a single (A-side or B-side) by the Everlys. Due to a falling out with their manager and publisher Wesley Rose they were prevented from issuing it as a single, though it had been meant for them. It was after the quarrel was settled in 1964 that they rerecorded it for the 1965 album Rock 'n' Soul. The first hit version of the song is by Roy Orbison, who earned Australian radio play, hitting the Top Five of that country's singles charts in 1961. A recording by Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons is included on Parsons' posthumously released ''Grievou ...

Los Strwck
Los Strwck (pronounced "strook") is a Mexican musical group, founded in 1966. Led by Elbert Moguel, they originated from Guadalajara, Jalisco Their biggest hits include the ballads "Él", "Dilo tú", "Quién" and "Recuerdo estudiantil". They mainly made rock and roll, ballad, and cumbia music. The group was initially called "Fuego" ("Fire") and later "Los Extraños" ("The Strangers"), but they often met with difficulties because there were already other groups with those names. Because of this, Moguel came up with the notorious "Strwck" name after deciding that he wanted to create a name that had no vowel letters, and therefore a word that wouldn't exist in any language and that wasn't already the name of any other group. Their first album, "La Doctoriza", blends rock & roll music, cumbia, psychedelic rock and ballads. However, their later releases were more conventional ballads and cumbia songs. The group was very popular in Mexico in the 1970s, and many of Moguel's compositions w ...

Grupero artists typically perform rancheras, corridos, cumbias, Charanga-vallenata, charangas, Sentimental ballad, ballads, Bolero#Cuba, boleros and Chilena (musical genre), chilenas/huapangos. Telephone Line (song)
"Telephone Line" is a song by English rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). It was released in May 1977 through Jet Records and United Artists Records as part of the album ''A New World Record''. It was very successful, reaching the Top 10 in Australia, US, and UK, and number 1 in Canada. Background The ballad is track two on their 1976 album, ''A New World Record'', and was the final single to be released from the album until September 2006, when "Surrender" was released from the expanded reissue of the album. It became their biggest single success in the US and was their first UK gold award for a single. With ELO's continuing success in America it seemed obvious to frontman Jeff Lynne to use an American ring tone during the song. Lynne explained: The song charted in the Top Ten in both the UK and the US, peaking at number 8 in the UK and number 7 in the US. The tune was on the Hot 100 for 23 weeks, nearly a full month longer on that chart than any other ELO tune. ''Billbo ...
