Yingge Railway Station
Yingge () is a railway station in Yingge District, New Taipei, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways. Overview The station has two island platforms and the main station building is located over the tracks. The station accepts EasyCard or TWSC for payment for travel from Ruifang to (29 stations). The station is expected to be a transfer station with the New Taipei Metro's Sanying line in 2023. This will also be the only station on Sanying line that can transfer to Taiwan Railways. Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) is a railway operator in Taiwan. It is an agency of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, responsible for managing, maintaining, and running conventional passenger and freight railway services on 1097 km of track in Taiwan. Sanxia Old Street
The Sanxia Old Street () is centered on Minquan Street in Sanxia District, New Taipei, Taiwan. History A renovation work was carried out starting in 2004 and completed in 2007 to restore the buildings along the street to their early 20th century style. It also includes the establishment of the management committee of the old street. Architecture The street spans over a length of 200 meters. Rail transport (also known as train transport) is a means of transport that transfers passengers and goods on wheeled vehicles running on rails, which are incorporated in tracks. In contrast to road transport, where the vehicles run on a prepared flat surface, rail vehicles (rolling stock) are directionally guided by the tracks on which they run. Tracks usually consist of steel rails, installed on sleepers (ties) set in ballast, on which the rolling stock, usually fitted with metal wheels, moves. Dahan River
The Dahan River (, also spelled Tahan) is a river in northern Taiwan. It originates in Hsinchu County and then flows through Taoyuan City and New Taipei City for 135 km, before it joins Xindian River in Taipei to form the Tamshui River. The upper reaches of the Dahan are also known as Takekan Creek () or Taigang Creek (泰崗溪). An alternative historical name for the Dahan is the Shihmen River (石門溪). History The museum building was originally built as the township office during the Japanese rule in 1929. New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum
The New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum () is a museum presenting ceramics located in Yingge District, New Taipei, Taiwan. History The museum opened on 26 November 2000. In March 2016, the museum signed an agreement with Google to include its collections in the art project of Google Cultural Institute. Exhibitions The museum houses exhibits as well as a ceramics studio. Sanying Line
The Sanying or Light Blue line ( zh, t=三鶯線) (code LB) is a Medium-capacity rail system, light metro line under construction in New Taipei, Taiwan. Approval for the construction of the line was given by the central government on 2 June 2015. Constructed on elevated tracks, the line will be 14.3 km long and will have 12 stations and one depot. It will run from Dingpu metro station, Dingpu Station on the Bannan line along Zhongyang Road to Sanxia and then cross Freeway 3 (Taiwan), National Freeway No. 3 to Yingge. A turnkey contract was signed with Hitachi Rail STS and Hitachi Rail Italy as members of the ARH consortium on 21 June 2016.
