''Yine Sensiz'' (''Again Without You'') is the 1992 album of the Turkish pop singer Tarkan. It was released in Turkey. This was his debut album and launched him onto the Turkish pop scene, which was modest at the time. Last 3 tracks were added during its re-release in 1993. By 1994, the album sold over 600,000 copies officially, and an additional 400,000 copies illegally. Tarkan (singer)
Tarkan Tevetoğlu (; born 17 October 1972) is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Since the early 1990s, with the successful sales of his albums, he has been a prominent figure of pop music, recognized in Turkey and worldwide. Tarkan was born and raised in Alzey, Rhineland-Palatinate. In 1986, he moved to Turkey together with his family. Tarkan, who had been interested in music since his childhood, went to high school at Karamürsel and took music lessons. In the following years, he met the owner of İstanbul Plak, Mehmet Söğütoğlu, and signed a contract to release his own album. Tarkan released his first album '' Yine Sensiz'' in late 1992 with "Kıl Oldum" being chosen as its lead single. His second and third albums, ''Aacayipsin'' and ''Ölürüm Sana'', were released in 1994 and 1998 respectively. The song "Şımarık" from ''Ölürüm Sana'' became popular in a number of countries. "Don't Play Your Rock 'n' Roll to Me" is a song by British rock band Smokie. It was released in early September 1975 as a single and appeared later on the album '' Changing All the Time''. Like the band's previous two singles " Pass It Around" and "If You Think You Know How to Love Me", the song was composed by Nicky Chinn/Mike Chapman. The acoustic guitar riff in "Don't Play Your Rock 'n' Roll to Me" is adopted from the Elvis Presley hit "His Latest Flame". The single was as successful as the previous one. It debuted in the UK Singles Chart on 4 October 1975, reaching #8 and lingering in the charts for 7 weeks. The Communards were a British synth-pop duo formed in London in 1985. The duo consisted of Jimmy Somerville and Richard Coles. Los Kjarkas is a Bolivian band from the Capinota province in the department of Cochabamba, and one of the most popular Andean folk music bands in the country's history.
