Yide Mansion
The Yide Mansion () is a former residence in Beitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. History In 1925, Lin Mao-yang moved to the current plot of land in which the mansion stands. In 1930, he constructed the mansion during his career peak. In 1950, the mansion was sold to the Joint Logistics Headquarters. The company then used the mansion as the residence for high rank officers in 1954. In 2007, the mansion was declared historical building by Taichung City Government. Since then, the mansion underwent renovation work with a cost of NT$45 million. Green landscaping works were done since 2 October 2013 until 28 January 2014. The renovation work was completed in April 2015. Beitun District
Beitun District (; lit: northern camp) is a district in Taichung, Taiwan. Located in the northern part of the city, it is a half mountainous, half urban area. Though Beitun District used to be considered part of the countryside, the new Taiyuan Station has urbanized it considerably. The highest point of Taichung City is located in Beitun, Douliu Hill (859 m). The Taichung City Government () is the municipal government of Taichung, Taiwan. History Taichū City Government was established by the Governor-General of Taiwan and the Japanese colonial authorities on 1 October 1920. Following the handover of Taiwan from Japan to the Republic of China, Taichung had been reconstituted as a provincial city government on 25 October 1945. Taiyuan Railway Station (Taiwan)
Taiyuan () is an elevated railway station on the TRA Taichung line located in Beitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. Taiyuan Station was rebuilt with an elevated platform in 2016.
