Yeva Yaroslavivna Meleshchuk ( ukr, Єва Ярославівна Мелещук, born 29 September 2001 in Kyiv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian group and former individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2019 Summer Universiade Clubs gold medalist. On national level, she is the 2018 Ukrainian National All-around champion and the 2020 Ukrainian National All-around silver medalist. Career Junior She competed at the 2016 Junior European Championships in Holon, Israel and placed 6th in Team competition together with Olena Diachenko and Khrystyna Pohranychna. She placed 26th in Rope and 16th in Clubs Qualifications. Senior In 2017, she became senior. She won bronze medal with Ribbon at the 2017 Ukrainian Championships. She competed with Ribbon at the 2017 European Championships in Budapest, Hungary and placed 6th in Team competition. Olena Ihorivna Diachenko ( uk, Олена Ігорівна Д'яченко, born 15 June 2001) is a Ukrainian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the two-time (2015–16) Ukrainian Junior National champion. Career Junior Diachenko began appearing in international junior competitions in 2013. In 2015 season, she competed in numerous Junior World Cup events in Lisbon, Budapest, Pesaro, Sofia. Diachenko along with seniors Ganna Rizatdinova and Viktoria Mazur competed at the annual 2015 Aeon Cup where Team Deriugins School won the silver and with Diachenko finishing 7th in junior individual all-around finals. In 2016 season, Diachenko started her season competing at the 2016 L.A Lights followed by competition at the 2016 Valentine Cup in Tartu, Estonia. Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. The tournament is promoted and organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the three tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup and the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games (in collaboration with the IOC and the federation of the country organising the Games). The first edition of the World Championships was held in 1963, a time when the sport was known as modern gymnastics. 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 10 September to 16 September 2018 at Arena Armeec. The top three countries in the group all-around, Russia, Italy, and Bulgaria won the first three spots for the 2020 Olympic Games. Russia was the most successful nation of the competition with seven of the nine gold medals, and Bulgaria and Italy each won a title.
