The discography of Yellowcard, an American pop punk band from Jacksonville, Florida, consists of ten studio albums, eleven singles, two live albums, two extended plays, one video album, and two compilation albums. Yellowcard with their original frontman & founder Benjamin Harper released their debut album, ''Midget Tossing'', on April 1, 1997, via DIY Records. This album, along with their next two efforts, ''Where We Stand'' (1999) and Ryan Key's debut ''One for the Kids'' (2001), failed to garner any chart success on the ''Billboard'' music charts. Also, no singles were ever released from any of these albums. However, in 2003, they achieved breakthrough success with the release of their major label debut ''Ocean Avenue''. The album charted within the Top 30 of the ''Billboard'' 200, as well as the Top 10 in New Zealand. Yellowcard is an American Rock music, rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997 and was based in Los Angeles beginning in 2000. The band is recognized for having a distinct sound in their genre, primarily due to the prominent use of a violin in their songs, and are best known for their singles "Ocean Avenue (song), Ocean Avenue", "Only One (Yellowcard song), Only One", and "Lights and Sounds (song), Lights and Sounds". The band released ten studio albums, with its most recent and final one, ''Yellowcard (album), Yellowcard'', released on September 30, 2016. Following this release and supporting tour, the band broke up. The band reunited in September 2022 for a performance at Riot Fest and will make more live appearances in 2023, though no official reformation plans have yet been revealed. ''When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes'' is the seventh studio album released by American rock band Yellowcard on March 22, 2011 under Hopeless Records. The album has received positive reviews. The album's title comes from a text message sent to a girl by lead singer Ryan Key. Later in the year, the band released an acoustic version of the album. Background and recording In July 2010, rumours surfaced that Yellowcard, who had been on a two-year hiatus, would be reforming. In August, Yellowcard announced they would be returning from their hiatus and would be working on a new album for independent label Hopeless Records. Following the band's reformation, they immediately began working on their new album. ''Paper Walls'' is the sixth studio album by American pop punk band Yellowcard, released on July 17, 2007. This is also the first Yellowcard album with Ryan Mendez, their last with Peter Mosely, and their last studio album to be released through Capitol Records.
