''Paper Walls'' is the sixth studio album by American pop punk band Yellowcard, released on July 17, 2007. This is also the first Yellowcard album with Ryan Mendez, their last with Peter Mosely, and their last studio album to be released through Capitol Records. The album was recorded at Ocean Studios in Burbank, California and was mixed at South Beach Studios in Miami, Florida. Background and production Prior to the release of ''Lights and Sounds'' (2006), it was announced that guitarist Ben Harper had parted ways with the band. He was replaced by Ryan Mendez. ''Lights and Sounds'' failed to reach sales expectations compared to their break-through album ''Ocean Avenue'' (2003). Violinist Sean Mackin called the group "a little too jaded" and ''Lights and Sounds'' "a little too dark ... We all went a bit too far." Yellowcard
Yellowcard is an American Rock music, rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997 and was based in Los Angeles beginning in 2000. The band is recognized for having a distinct sound in their genre, primarily due to the prominent use of a violin in their songs, and are best known for their singles "Ocean Avenue (song), Ocean Avenue", "Only One (Yellowcard song), Only One", and "Lights and Sounds (song), Lights and Sounds". The band released ten studio albums, with its most recent and final one, ''Yellowcard (album), Yellowcard'', released on September 30, 2016. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. The Bamboozle
The Bamboozle is an annual three-day music festival which was held in New Jersey from 2003 to 2012, and is scheduled for a 2023 revival by its founder. Every year, new bands competed for spots during the two days. The event evolved out of the Skate and Surf Festival.
