Yellow (manga)
''Yellow'' is a four-volume yaoi manga by Makoto Tateno, published in English by Digital Manga Publishing. It tells the story of two elite drug "snatchers" (couriers), Taki and Goh, mainly about the love and adventures they share together. This manga does not involve a '' seme-uke'' relationship that is commonly present in and/or attributed to the genre of yaoi. Instead, both males are represented as equals in terms of power and physical appearance. Makoto Tateno
, who also uses the pen name Shinjuku Tango, is a Japanese manga artist who made her debut in 1986. Tateno regards her influences as being Go Nagai and Osamu Tezuka. Two of her best-known works are ''Yellow'' and ''Happy Boys''. For the latter, she used the actors from the live-action drama for her character design - among them protagonist Kōji Seto and also Gaku Shindou and Kenta Kamakari as gentlemen hosts. Fake (manga)
is a seven-volume BL manga by Sanami Matoh. The story focuses in a romance between Randy "Ryo" Maclean and Dee Laytner, two New York City detectives from the fictitious 27th precinct. An anime version of the fifth act (or chapter) from the second manga is also available, in the form of an OVA. ''Fake'' was first published as seven volumes by Biblos, but after the company went bankrupt in 2006, ''Fake'' was republished by Mediation as five volumes, with one newly drawn extra story featured at the back of each. ''Fakes English translation is published by Tokyopop in the United States of America, and by Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand. All seven volumes are available in English.
