Yelena Tregubova
Yelena Tregubova (russian: Елена Трегубова; born May 24, 1973) is a Russian journalist. Her book ''The Tales of a Kremlin Digger'' detailed her work in the Kremlin pool. Biography Tregubova studied journalism at Moscow State University in the 1990s. She started her career as a journalist with the newspaper ''Nezavisimaya Gazeta''. Between 1997 and 2001, Tregubova was a member of the Kremlin press pool, reporting for the independent Moscow dailies ''Kommersant'', ''Izvestia'', and ''Russky Telegraf''. The members of this "Kremlin Pool" are reporters who cover the work of Russian presidents (Boris Yeltsin and later Vladimir Putin) for television and major newspapers. During this time she interviewed many top members of Kremlin's administration, including Putin, Alexander Voloshin and Anatoliy Chubais. Alexey Alexeyevich Gromov (russian: Алексей Алексеевич Громов; born 31 May 1960) is a Russian politician. He is First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia. Biography Gromov was born in 1960 in Zagorsk, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union. He studied history at Moscow State University, specialising in Southern and Western Slavs and received his degree in history in 1982. For many years after his graduation, he worked for the Soviet and then the Russian government in their respective Ministries of Foreign Affairs. Yelena Maglevannaya (russian: Елена Маглеванная, born 15 December 1981) is a Russian free-lance journalist for the newspaper Svobodnoye Slovo, ''Free Speech'', in Volgograd. She requested a political asylum in Finland in May 2009. Maglevannaya has focused on cases of persecution against Chechens. Maglevannaya published an article of a Chechen Zubayr Zubayraev (russian: Зубайр Зубайраев), detained in Volgograd since 2007, in Civitas.ru, Svobodnoye Slovo and later on the web page of the Islamic Committee of Russia. The article criticized the conditions and ill-treatments in prisons.
