Yeh Wei-tze
Yeh Wei-tze (, born 20 February 1973) is a Taiwanese professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Yeh was born in Taipei. Representing his country as an amateur, Yeh was a member of the 1990 Eisenhower Trophy team, and then again at the 1992 tournament. Professional career He turned professional in 1994, played on the Asian Tour and was coached in his early career by pioneering Taiwanese golfer Lu Liang-Huan. In 2000, he won the European Tour co-sanctioned Benson & Hedges Malaysian Open, only the second Taiwanese player to win on that tour following Lu, who won the French Open in 1971. The win also helped Yeh to second place on the Davidoff Asian PGA Order of Merit that season. In 2003, Yeh joined the Japan Golf Tour. He has won twice on that tour, the 2003 ANA Open and the 2006 Sega Sammy Cup. Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. There was an 18-hole playoff which Australia won with a score of 222 to the United States 224. From 1958 to 2000 the teams had four players with the best three scores counting for each round. From 2002 the teams have been three players with two counting. The 2004, 2010 and 2012 championships were reduced to 54 holes because of bad weather. Masashi Ozaki
is a Japanese professional golfer. Ozaki is often known as Jumbo Ozaki (ジャンボ尾崎 ''Janbo Ozaki'') on account of his height and length off the tee. He featured in the top ten of the Official World Golf Rankings for almost 200 weeks between 1989 and 1998. He is the most successful player of all time on the Japan Golf Tour, having led the money list a record 12 times and won 94 tournaments, over 40 more than the second highest player. Ozaki was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2011. Biography Ozaki was born in Kaifu District, Tokushima. He was a professional baseball pitcher/outfielder from 1965 to 1967 with the Nishitetsu Lions, but he turned to professional golf at the age of 23 and won the Japan PGA Championship the following year. The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf tour in Asia except for Japan, which has its own Japan Golf Tour, which is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours.
