Yaron Hasson
Yaron Hasson is an Israeli guitar player. Life and works Yaron Hasson is a graduate of the Performance Department (Guitar) at the Royal College of Music in London (1988) with an ARCM qualification. In the same year he won first prize in Israel's national guitar contest. Yaron has performed in festivals including the Israeli-Spanish Cultural Week, to which he was invited along with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and Bat-Dor Dance Company, as a representative of Israeli musical life. He has also performed in festivals in Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Russia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Israel. Yaron has given numerous concerts in Europe, including performances with a variety of musical groups. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player's body and played by strumming or plucking the strings with the dominant hand, while simultaneously pressing selected strings against frets with the fingers of the opposite hand. Shlomo Mintz (Hebrew: שלמה מינץ) (born 30 October 1957) is an Israeli violin virtuoso, violinist and conductor. He regularly appears with orchestras and conductors on the international scene and is heard in recitals and chamber music concerts around the world. Biography Shlomo Mintz was born in Moscow. In 1959, when he was two, his family immigrated to Israel, where he studied with Ilona Feher, a student of Jenő Hubay. Feher introduced Shlomo Mintz to Isaac Stern, who became his mentor. George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra
The George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra ( ro, Filarmonica George Enescu) is a musical institution located in Bucharest, Romania. Founded on 7 May 1868 under the supervision of Eduard Wachman, the Romanian Philharmonic Society had as purpose the creation of a permanent symphonic orchestra in Bucharest. Its first concert took place on 15 December of the same year. After the palace of the Romanian Athenaeum was built in 1888, the orchestra inaugurated that building with a concert on March 5, 1889, and the Athenaeum became the new home of the orchestra, as it has remained ever since. Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra
The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (Hebrew: התזמורת הסימפונית ירושלים, ''ha-Tizmoret ha-Simfonit Yerushalayim'') is a major orchestra of Israel. Since the 1980s, the JSO has been based in the Henry Crown Symphony Hall, part of the Jerusalem Theater complex.
