Yankee (TV Series)
''Yankee'' is a 2019 Mexican Spanish-language streaming television drama series created by Diego Enrique Osorno and starring Julio Casado, Sebastián Ferrat and Jana Raluy. The plot revolves around Malcolm Moriarty (Pablo Lyle), a young entrepreneur from Arizona who is on the run from the police. He crosses the border into Mexico and gets involved in drug dealing with modern technology, becoming their American associate. It was ordered direct-to-series, and the first season premiered on Netflix streaming on June 14, 2019. Argos Comunicación is a television and film production company owned by Epigmenio Ibarra based in Mexico City. Profile The company started as the telenovela-production unit for TV Azteca with '' Nada personal'' and has since then produced many telenovelas for this network. It also co-produced ''Sexo, pudor y lágrimas'' in 1999 directed by Antonio Serrano who has directed five telenovelas and another film (''Lucía, Lucía'') with Argos. Sebastián Ferrat
Roberto González López (17 September 1978 – 29 December 2019) artistically known as Sebastián Ferrat, was a Mexican television actor, and stage actor. Life Ferrat was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. He studied acting and dramaturgy at the Televisa Centro de Educación Artística from which he left in 2005. He is best known for his roles in various telenovelas for Televisión Azteca and Telemundo. Ferrat became known mostly for his character Juan Antonio Marcado in the third and fourth season of the Telemundo crime drama series ''El Señor de los Cielos'' (2015–2016).
