Yang Ji-won (singer)
Yang Ji-won (; born April 5, 1988) is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a former member of T-ara, Spica and UNI.T, and made her solo debut in 2020 with the single "Towards the Sun". Initially slated to debut as a member of Five Girls and then T-ara, Yang made her debut as a member of Spica in 2012. After the group disbanded in 2017, she debuted as a member of UNI.T a year later after participating in '' The Unit: Idol Rebooting Project'' and ranking sixth in the final episode. Early life and education Yang was born on April 5, 1988, in Seoul, South Korea. However, she grew up in Jeonju. She graduated Poongmoon Girls' High School and subsequently the Department of Theatre and Film at Dongguk University. GFriend (stylized in all caps; ) was a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015. The group consisted of six members: Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. They debuted with the extended play (EP) '' Season of Glass'' on January 15, 2015 and won several female rookie awards, garnering momentum early on despite being from a small company. GFriend continued their commercial success the next year with their third EP, ''Snowflake'', whose lead single " Rough" won first place on numerous music shows. Bang Cheol-yong (born March 10, 1991), better known by his stage name Mir, is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, and actor. He is a member of guy group MBLAQ. He enlisted in the army on 2016. He was discharged in July 2018. Early life Mir was born in Bukha-myeon, Jangseong County , South Korea in the country side. Career MBLAQ (2009–2015) Mir is the rapper and youngest member of the group MBLAQ. In 2011, Mir had injured himself, he had to go under a spinal disc surgery, but arrived to perform with the group after being inactive due to his injury. ''Russian Roulette'' is the first extended play and debut major release from South Korean girl group Spica. It was released on February 8, 2012 with the song of same name as the promotional song. The EP was re-released on March 29, 2012 with the name ''Painkiller''. The song of same name was used to promote the re-release.
